Dr. Pete Sim received his Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Singapore University. Upon graduation, he spent over 25 years in private practice in Singapore before emigrating to Australia in April 2006. Five months later, he was certified by the Australian Dental Council and worked at Sale Hospital, Victoria, for two years before returning to private practice.

In 2014, Dr. Pete relocated to Perth, where he continues to serve in private practice and brings his extensive experience to helping patients, especially in endotontics (root canal therapy).

How Did Painless Pete Begin? In more than 35 years of practice, Dr. Pete has developed a reputation for putting his patients at ease while delivering his holistic and high quality approach to dentistry.

His patients in Victoria would often comment that Dr. Pete’s dental procedures are always “painless” and thus “Painless Pete” became a term of endearment that his patients coined for Dr. Pete.
