Flexible payment options to help you access the dental care you need

At Yokine Smiles Dental, we understand that dental treatment is an important investment in your health. We offer a range of payment options and can help you understand what rebates or schemes may apply to you, based on your eligibility and the treatment recommended.
We aim to keep costs transparent by discussing treatment options and fees before we proceed, so you can make an informed decision with no surprises.

Private health funds

We welcome patients covered by all major private health funds. If you have extras cover, benefits may apply depending on your policy, waiting periods, and annual limits. 

Preferred Provider Health Funds 

Yokine Smiles Dental is a preferred provider for: 

  • HBF 
  • nib 
  • HCF 

We also accept major funds including Medibank Private and Bupa. 

Helpful tip: Bring your health fund card to your appointment so we can assist with accurate claiming where applicable. 

Payment methods accepted in clinic 

We accept:

  • MasterCard 
  • EFTPOS 

Payment plans 

We offer payment plan options to help make treatment more manageable. If you’d like to discuss a payment plan, please let our team know before treatment begins, so we can confirm suitability and outline the steps clearly. 

Government and subsidised dental support

Eligibility and coverage vary depending on your circumstances and documentation. Our team can help guide you on what you may need to bring. 

Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) 

We accept the Child Dental Benefits Schedule (CDBS) for eligible families. 
CDBS provides eligible children aged 0–17 years access to a benefit of $1,026 for eligible dental services over a two-calendar-year period (eligibility rules apply). 

If you believe your child may be eligible, please let us know when booking and bring relevant details to your appointment. 

 

Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) 

We welcome eligible DVA card holders. Coverage depends on the type of card and whether the treatment is clinically required under DVA arrangements. Please bring your DVA card and any relevant documentation to your appointment.

 

Metropolitan Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme (MPDSS) 

We accept the Metropolitan Patients Dental Subsidy Scheme (MPDSS) for eligible patients who hold a current Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card. 

To use MPDSS, you will require a valid General Treatment Authority Form or Emergency Treatment Authority Form issued by Dental Health Services. 

 

Concession cards 

If eligible, please bring your: 

  • Pensioner Concession Card 
  • Health Care Card 

Our team can advise what documentation may be required for supported dental schemes. 

SuperCare (early release of super for eligible treatment)

Yokine Smiles Dental accepts SuperCare as a payment option for eligible patients. If you’re planning to use SuperCare, applications generally need to be completed before treatment commences. We can provide treatment information required for your application where appropriate.

Yes — we accept all major health funds, and we are a preferred provider for HBF, nib and HCF.
